We don’t take a cut of your members’ money

Most platforms sit in the middle of your payments and take a percentage. We don’t. Your subscription is our price.

The problem

There are two fees in every member payment, and only one of them is real.

Your bank or card provider charges to move the money. That’s unavoidable, and everyone pays it.

The second is your software platform taking a percentage on top — for sitting between you and money that was already yours. It never appears as a bill. You just see less arrive.

It scales with your revenue. Your subscription doesn’t. So the better your gym does, the more the arrangement favours them.

What it actually costs

A 200-member gym processing $20,000 a month:

 SubscriptionTheir cutYou actually pay
PATO$249$0$529
A “free” platform at 4.99%$0$1,058$1,058

A subscription that costs 4.99% of your revenue isn't free. At $20,000 a month it’s roughly $12,700 a year, from a product advertised at nothing.

And it’s charged on revenue, not profit. A gym running a 15% margin and paying 5% of revenue is handing over a third of its profit.

How billing works

Connect your own payment account. You pay your processor directly, at their rate. We never sit in the middle.

Direct debit and cards. Direct debit is the default for New Zealand and Australian gyms — it’s cheaper and it fails less, because cards expire and bank accounts don’t.

Mandates and subscriptions. Set up, pause, resume and cancel. Members can see their own billing in the app, which cuts the “what am I paying for?” emails considerably.

The numbers you need. Monthly recurring revenue, active subscriptions, collection rate and payment history — updated in real time, not overnight.

Your shop, too

Sell products and plans alongside memberships: catalogue, images, inventory, orders, refunds and fulfilment. Members buy in the app.

(Shop is a $29/month add-on.)

What it costs

Member billing is included in every plan. Not an add-on, not a higher tier, and no percentage.
